ABOUT ME

I am Melissa Sprouse, director and owner of After Class Tutoring. I have been doing ACT/SAT preparation, subject tutoring, and teen coaching for over 13 years. I have successfully helped students reach their ACT goals: raising their scores by 2 points, 9 points, and even achieving perfect scores!

I have a passion for helping students see what they are capable of and helping them tackle challenges and gain confidence along the way.

Melissa is phenomenal. She is extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. If your goal is to achieve a higher ACT score, then this is the place to go. She helped me prepare for the ACT. I needed to retake the ACT in College because the program I was going into required a higher score. 'After Class Tutoring' administered a practice ACT test and then Melissa told me the areas I could improve on. The whole process was very professional and helpful. They prepared me to receive the score I needed to get into my program. Melissa provides results.

After Class Tutoring has helped me tremendously throughout my high school career. Time and time again I found myself sitting in my math class completely lost. I would come to After Class Tutoring and was able to learn an entire weeks worth of math within one hour. I also came here for ACT prep and was able to bring my score up two points. Overall, I would highly recommend After Class Tutoring.

My son has been going to After Class tutoring for a couple of months now and I can honestly say I have finally found a successful tutor!
Melissa and her staff of tutors are able to determine what a student needs and fine tune their skills. After years of struggling to get my son to go to a tutor, I was ready to give up, I had spent several hundred dollars and ended up with very poor results. Melissa has gone above and beyond my expectations of what a tutor is capable of doing to help and encourage my child. He now enjoys the process and wants to continue as long as he is in high school. I strongly urge anybody with a teenager who is struggling in certain areas and/or needs improvement on test taking skills such as the ACT and SAT.
